CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:

EXPERIMENTAL FILM AND VIDEO PROGRAM for the HOUSTON CINEMA ARTS FESTIVAL

Each November, the Houston Cinema Arts Festival showcases some of the year’s best experimental short works. (Previous years’ programs can be seen here.)

This year, I am looking for submissions for the program.

The works should be:
*20 minutes in length or shorter
*from the 2025 calendar year (completion date or premiere date)
*experimental and/or non-narrative

Works can be presented at the festival either digitally or in celluloid projection (35mm or 16mm; Super-8 negotiable).

The festival pays filmmakers a modest rental fee / honorarium.
